The French outlet writes that the club informed Pogba a few weeks ago that they intended to end their professional arrangement early. Furthermore, it’s being reported that the club will look for a financial settlement with the player and pay out any outstanding wages.

It was only last summer that the 2018 World Cup winner joined Les Monégasques on a free transfer following the end of his doping ban. Pogba struggled with his fitness in his first season back in professional football since 2023. He made only six appearances, totalling 105 minutes of football.

Earlier this summer, Pogba surprised the club by suggesting on social media that he planned to stay for the next season, as discussions over his future had not yet begun. As it turns out, the Frenchman will not continue his career in the Principality.
