Real Madrid striker Carlos Espí scored his first goal for the club during the team’s 2-1 victory over Ferencvaros this Saturday. Then, he talked to Real Madrid TV and shared his thoughts.
“It’s magical. It’s amazing to score with this jersey and help the team, I’m very happy,” he said.

Espí completed a quality performance not only because of his goal. He was also able to contribute as a target player, distributing the ball effectively from the striker position.
“I feel better and more at ease. My teammates helped me a lot with the goal: Arda, Fede… the whole team… I’m very happy. It’s still early, but we are playing as a team and doing what the coach says. We’re moving forward,” he added.
This goal will surely be a step in the right direction for Espí’s confidence. The striker will get more chances to prove his worth while Mbappé improves his conditioning.
