New Orlando Pirates striker arrives in South Africa

SEBASTIAN PEDERSEN ARRIVES IN SOUTH AFRICA
The 27-year-old signed a two-year contract with an option for an additional season. He arrives with considerable experience from Norway. He represented his country at every junior international level from Under-15 through to Under-21.
His club record also highlights his goalscoring ability.
Across the last four-and-a-half seasons with Sogndal and Moss FK, Pedersen scored 51 goals and provided eight assists in 117 appearances.
Pirates believe his movement and finishing will add another dimension to the attack. The Buccaneers described him as a one-touch finisher rather than a traditional physical striker.
ORLANDO PIRATES FACE DURBAN CITY IN THE MTN8
Pedersen arrives as Orlando Pirates prepare for their MTN8 quarter-final against Durban City. The Buccaneers face the Nedbank Cup holders on Saturday, 8 August, at the Orlando Amstel Arena.
Kick-off is scheduled for 15:00 SAST.
Orlando Pirates are defending their MTN8 crown and chasing a historic fifth consecutive title. However, Pedersen will have to wait for his opportunity to make his competitive debut for the Buccaneers.
