AS Monaco are reportedly interested in Napoli’s Romelo Lukaku (33), according to information from La Gazzetta dello Sport. Major League Soccer side Atlanta United and Turkish club Trabzonspor are also said to be among the suitors for the Belgian, who would prefer to continue his career in Europe.
With Folarin Balogun (25) potentially set to leave Monaco in the near future, the club are said to have made the former Everton striker one of their top targets. A deal valued at around €10m could be greatly facilitated by the extremely strained relationship between Lukaku and his club’s management.

Although he has had a difficult season, cut short by injuries and during which he has played just 64 minutes (spread over seven matches) on the pitch, the 33-year-old is nevertheless coming off a more positive World Cup with the Red Devils, having scored three goals and provided one assist in six appearances.
