Jadarian Price is the key to Seahawks winning another Super Bowl

The Seattle Seahawks are expected to rely heavily on Jadarian Price in 2026 and the rookie RB could be vital to their Super Bowl chances.
The NFL is constantly changing with players moving around to different teams. That’s been the case over the offseason after the reigning champions lost Kenneth Walker despite being the Super Bowl MVP in February.

Price was a late first-round pick in April’s NFL Draft after spending his college career at Notre Dame. However, his presence for Seattle is crucial as the franchise looks to make another championship run.
The 22 year old enters his professional career with significant expectations despite being overshadowed while playing for the Fighting Irish. Price’s collegiate tenure featured the running back splitting carries with Arizona Cardinals star Jeremiyah Love.

Although, he ultimately fell short with Fernando Mendoza winning the valuable award.
That doesn’t mean that Price isn’t a fully capable and exciting piece joining the Seahawks’ offense. Price carried the ball far fewer times while playing alongside Love at Notre Dame.
However, Price still managed to average over six yards per carry during his final two seasons with the perennial college football powerhouse.

The Seahawks are clearly high on Price’s ability though, especially with “Hard Knocks” clips hyping the player up.

The Los Angeles Rams boast a stacked roster and are expected to win the NFC West despite Seattle’s success a season ago.
Meanwhile, Mike Macdonald’s group is largely intact after their title run, minus Walker’s offseason move to the Kansas City Chiefs. Those vacated 200-plus carries now fall on the shoulders of Price, Zach Charbonnet and George Holani.

Price is the one that can put Seattle back into the NFC contention conversation though because he’s the guy they invested heavily in this year. The Seahawks aren’t typically in the market for drafting running backs early.

In fact, Price is one of only four RBs the team has ever selected in the first round of the NFL Draft. Shaun Alexander, Rashaad Penny and Curt Warner are the only others that Seattle has ever drafted in Round 1.
That goes to show how much Macdonald and Co. value him as they aim to surround Sam Darnold with another weapon.
