Former Falcons defensive end waived by Philadelphia Eagles

The Philadelphia Eagles waived former Falcons defensive lineman Ta'Quon Graham on Sunday, ESPN's Tim McManus reported. Graham spent his first five NFL seasons in Atlanta (2021-2025) before signing with the Eagles as free agent back in March.

The former fifth-round pick out of Texas appeared in 51 games (16 starts) for the Falcons, recording 88 tackles (38 solo), one sack, 13 QB hits and five tackles for loss. Atlanta's roster was extremely thin, particularly on defense, when Graham was drafted in 2021.
The 27-year-old started nine games during his second season under former Falcons defensive coordinator Dean Pees, recording a career-high eight QB hits and 35 combined tackles.
The Eagles also signed former Falcons edge rusher Arnold Ebiketie in free agency. Ebiketie was a solid contributor but never developed into a consistent threat during his four seasons in Atlanta. The former second-round pick recorded 16.5 sacks and 41 QB hits over 67 games for the Falcons.

Atlanta brought back a different member of last year's defense on Thursday, signing veteran linebacker Josh Woods to the 90-man roster. We'll have to wait and see if Graham is claimed. His familiarity with Jeff Ulbrich's defense gives him a shot at returning to the team in 2026.
The Falcons are off this Sunday but will return on Monday for their first fully padded practice at IBM Performance Field.
