Yankees GM Brian Cashman is apparently turning over every rock he can find to bolster his roster.

One catcher on their radar is Adley Rutschman of the Baltimore Orioles, per Jon Heyman of the New York Post.
The right-handed hitting backstop is batting .251 with eight homers and 47 RBI with a .764 OPS.
Rutschman, 28, has been on the IL since July 20 with left wrist inflammation.
Switching catchers mid-season can be risky as the pitching staff would have to adapt to a new backstop during a pennant race, but Cashman is reportedly intent on upgrading offensively at a position where Austin Wells and Ali Sanchez have struggled.
The Yankees have also been linked to Minnesota Twins catcher Ryan Jeffers, but the Twins appear not to be sellers at the deadline since they are just 1 1/2 games back of the third AL Wild Card.
