Toronto Police investigating shots fired outside U.S. Consulate

Toronto Police are investigating after shots were fired outside the U.S. Consulate on Monday morning.

Police say shots were heard being discharged in the area of the building at 360 University Ave.
At 4:46 a.m., they found a shell casing outside the building.
There were no reported injuries.

Cops said a white sedan was seen fleeing the scene. Authorities have not released any further information on possible suspects.
The southbound lanes of University Ave. are currently closed for investigation.
Monday’s shooting comes four months after a shooting at the same building on March 10.
