A 911 dispatcher said they heard influencer Sara Gilson “screaming and crying” before police found her and estranged husband Jeremiah “Shawn” Duffey’s bodies in her Oklahoma home.

Gilson was killed by Duffey in a shocking murder-suicide on July 23, nearly two weeks after she accused him online of being a pedophile.

The 911 calls

A 911 dispatcher said they heard a woman “screaming and crying” before police found their bodies in her Oklahoma home.

“I’m trying to reach him back, but I could hear a female in the background screaming and crying,” a dispatcher says on the audio recording, referring to the caller who reported the eventual murder-suicide, according to the call obtained by People .

“Some sort of loud bang in the background,” they detailed to first responders heading to the house.

The dispatcher then refers to “a gun” and mentions a “male that we were looking for a few weeks ago after he got caught kissing a juvenile.”

Authorities let dispatchers know at 11:18 p.m. that they had arrived at Gilson’s home.

Gilson, 43, and Duffey, 48, were found with gunshot wounds to the head, KTUL reported.

A child who lived at the home also called 911, telling dispatchers “his stepfather had shot his mother,” according to the outlet.

Police found two people dead with gunshot wounds to the head, the Owasso Police Department confirmed. The incident is being treated as a murder-suicide.

The child was taken into protective custody, according to police, and released to his other parent who was not involved in the fatal shooting.

The video that outed her ex

In a TikTok video posted on July 11 , Gilson took part in the trend in which users and content creators prepare to sit down for the filming of a documentary.

She wrote in the caption: “Preparing for when Netflix drops a documentary about my soon-to-be-ex-husband who I just found out is a pedophile.”

Gilson added, “I wish I was joking.”

Gilson had filed for — and was granted — a protective order against Duffey the day before she shared the now-viral video, saying he was suicidal and armed with a gun after he’d been accused of sexually assaulting the 15-year-old basketball player.

There had been no reports of her ex violating the order prior to the deadly shooting.

Sex crime with a minor

On June 9, Owasso Police received a report from a parent and child about a sex crime that took place during an event at an elementary school in the city, involving a basketball coach of a competitive, travelling team inappropriately touching a female child on the team, according to KTUL .

The coach was identified as Jeremiah “Shawn” Duffey, with police noting similar actions by him had been reported over an extended period of time toward the same child in other jurisdictions across multiple states, the outlet reported.

The most recent incident was witnessed by another team coach who they said “immediately intervened and reported it to the juvenile’s parents.”

The girl told her mother that Duffey sent her messages, invited her to his hotel room during an away tournament, and offered her money “to keep her quiet,” the Oklahoman reported.

The girl’s mother also told officers that Duffey allegedly kissed and touched her before the other coach caught him.

Duffey fled the scene after getting busted.

Investigators soon discovered that he was a member of the Osage Nation and due to the incident taking place in Indian Country, the case was considered to be a ”major crime under the Federal Major Crimes Act,” KTUL reported.

He was accused of lewd molestations of a minor and the case was sent to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for review.
