Early, who sits at a 7-5 record, has had a 3.44 ERA in 17 games played this season.
In return for Early, the Nats are sending third baseman Curtis Mead to the Sox
Mead, in his third MLB season, has been having a career year as of late. So far, he’s batting a .259 BA with an .852 OPS and 17 dingers.
