Do Seahawks have the best QB-RB-pass-catcher trio in the NFL?

The Seattle Seahawks have an elite offensive trio of quarterback Sam Darnold, running back Jadarian Price and wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba heading into next season, but do they rank above the other top-shelf QB-RB-pass-catcher trios in the league?

According to CBS Sports’ Jared Dubin, Darnold, Price and Smith-Njigba are the No. 14 overall trio in the league at the present.
“Seattle finished just a smidge ahead of Denver,” Dubin said. “Darnold earned a ton of respect in his Super Bowl-winning season, while JSN emerged as one of the best receivers in the NFL, totally dominating in a very low-volume passing offense. Expectations for Price are hard to set, and Seattle would have checked in even higher here if Kenneth Walker III stayed in town.”
Darnold was one of the best arm talents in the league last season, but his versatility as a ball-carrier gives other quarterbacks a slight advantage over him. Nevertheless, he led Seattle to a win in the Super Bowl last season, and from the eye test stretching beyond the numbers, has developed into being a great player in the NFL.
Price was a standout running back at Notre Dame in 2025 prior to entering the league and is expected to have a strong season in 2026, but he will need to prove himself on the field once the season begins.
Smith-Njigba is the reigning AP Offensive Player of the Year. He led the league in receiving yards last season with 1,793, and shines as a route-runner. He has a case to be considered the best wide receiver in the league and makes the Seahawks’ offense complete with his dynamic play.
The fact that Price is an unproven rookie gives credence to other teams’ triplets being looked at above Seahawks trio, but the stars for Seattle are expected to help the team contend for a second consecutive Super Bowl in 2026.
