The 2026 MLB season has reached the All-Star break. This season has shown many players and teams having sensational seasons. Following the All-Star Game, the second half of the season will be in full swing. Here are the top 10 catchers at the midway point of the season.

10. Ryan Jeffers, Minnesota Twins

Rutschman is having a turnaround season. He lowered his strikeout rate and hit the ball with authority. This is great news for the Orioles.
8. Carter Jensen, Kansas City Royals
The Kansas City rookie is having a strong season. His power gives the team an easy transition from Sal Perez at the catcher position. He has allowed Kansas City to give Perez more at-bats at DH.
7. Samuel Basallo, Baltimore Orioles
The rookie continues to produce for Baltimore. He is currently fourth in home runs among MLB catchers. His name is in the race for the AL Rookie of the Year Award.
6. Drake Baldwin, Atlanta Braves

5. William Contreras, Milwaukee Brewers
The Brewers lead the NL Central and are receiving great production from their catcher. At the All-Star Break, Contreras leads all MLB catchers in hits. He is having one of the best seasons of his career.
4. Liam Hicks, Miami Marlins
Hicks’ season isn’t receiving enough praise. He’s producing for a Miami team in the hunt for a playoff spot. He is currently tied for sixth in home runs among MLB catchers.
3. Shea Langeliers, Athletics

Enough can’t be said about the Detroit catcher’s season. He’s hit for power throughout the season. He is the leading MLB catcher in RBI.

Goodman is having a sensational season. He is leading MLB catchers in home runs. A strong second half can see him finish the season with the most home runs from the catcher position.
