The Commanders' highest win total over the last five seasons was 8 in 2022, besides the 2024 campaign. The 2024 season was a magical one, with 14 wins. Could we all pretend like the 2025 season didn't happen? Or, at least make it a dark cloud scenario? With all of that said, the snowballs roll downhill, and in this case it's Dan Quinn. He will be in the hot seat this season, which seems unfair after the 2024 season and an injury-riddled 2025.

Honestly, it will be because Quinn and the coaching staff weren't able to stabilize the situation as it happened. Anything close to what happens this season will cause him to be looking for another city, and that's just how the NFL rolls. We will be watching Quinn and his staff during camp, and he'll need a backup plan to the backup plan.

The wide receiver room is deeper for the Commanders, but it didn't do much last season when Terry McLaurin wasn't on the field. Jayden Daniels will need to find some help this season outside of the hashes. This is a group similar to the one he had in 2024, so we shall see. Production needs to be up for the wideouts across the board.

The defense could be better this season, but they're young and could take some time to develop the chemistry needed in the NFL. Newcomers like Leo Chenal and Sonny Styles should help bolster it, but Commanders fans are hungry to build a winner now after getting a taste of it a couple of seasons ago. The Commanders should be better at wreaking havoc on the quarterback and forcing turnovers.
