On the court, the Milwaukee Bucks are experiencing significant change.

There will also be a significant change for Bucks fans to watch this new era.

And the first announcement that came Friday, July 10 will be a welcome change that will open the door for more people to watch.

All Bucks games for next season will be broadcast on over-the-air television on MY24 in Milwaukee and statewide affiliates, including all the preseason and regular-season games.

The change comes after the team's former TV carrier, Main Street Sports, which oversaw the FanDuel Sports Wisconsin network, closed its regional-sports network operation.

The new partnership is through the Rincon Broadcasting Group.

“We’re excited to bring the Bucks back to MY24,” Rincon Broadcasting Group CEO Kern Dant said. “This is more than a television partnership. It’s the return of a Milwaukee tradition. Welcome home, Bucks fans.”

Here's what to know about the Bucks' new TV announcement:

How to watch Bucks games for free

MY24, which first served as the over-the-air broadcast home of the Bucks from 1988 to 1994, will air all of the team's games in the Milwaukee area for the 2026-27 season.

Bucks pregame, in-game and postgame coverage will be offered for all locally available Bucks games this season through MY24.

Details on a statewide affiliate network will be announced later, the team said in a news release.

“This season marks an exciting return to our roots as we bring Bucks basketball back to full-season over-the-air television for the first time in more than three decades,” Bucks and Fiserv Forum President Josh Glessing said. “We’re grateful to our partners at Rincon Broadcasting Group for helping us make Bucks games more accessible to our fans throughout Wisconsin.”

What about Bucks games on cable and streaming?

The Bucks also said that most major cable systems will offer games, plus streaming on YouTube TV. Full streaming options will be announced later.

The Bucks added they'll develop a direct-to-consumer streaming service to "further expand access to Bucks games." Details will also come at a later date.

Bucks Summer League on MY24

The over-the-air broadcasts on MY24 will actually begin before next season begins.

The team announced that it'll start broadcasting games on MY24 with the 2026 NBA Summer League in Las Vegas, beginning Sunday, July 12, against the San Antonio Spurs at 8 p.m. CT.

The games against the Phoenix Suns on Monday, July 13, at 9 p.m. CT and the Charlotte Hornets on Wednesday, July 15, at 6:30 p.m. CT will also be on MY24.

Is this over-the-air TV channel different from past seasons?

In recent years, there have been a limited number of games that have also been over-the-air. Those games were on WMLW the M.

That allowed viewers who didn't have access to cable, satellite or the FanDuel Sports Network app an opportunity to watch the team for free.

Now, every game will be free on over-the-air TV on MY24.

Bucks schedule
