Dylan Larkin initially submitted a three-team trade list to the Detroit Red Wings when he requested a deal out of town.

After a long stretch with no trade yet, Larkin has expanded, by just one.

The new team on Larkin's list? The Dallas Stars.

MLive reported the news on Thursday, as well as adding that the Red Wings initially asked for Wyatt Johnston, a deal that was turned down.

MORE: Dylan Larkin's trade list is causing a problem

Dallas is in its own fascinating offseason saga as it tries to figure out how to pay Jason Robertson a worthy contract while not really having the cap space to do it.

In Detroit, the Red Wings are holding firm. Larkin's no-trade clause means that he can veto any agreed-upon deal he doesn't like, and so the Red Wings pretty much only can negotiate with the teams on his list.

In addition to the Stars, that's also the Vegas Golden Knights, the Florida Panthers and the Minnesota Wild.

A small group of teams, though, limits what Detroit can potentially get in return for its star center.

This could end up feeling a bit like a stand-off, but it's at least a tiny sign of progress that Larkin has added another team to the mix. It gives the Red Wings one more possibility to pull off a deal.
