What Happens When Snell and Glasnow Return? You Asked, Dodgers Nation Answers

The Los Angeles Dodgers have the best record in baseball at 59-32 and could be the first to eclipse 60 wins this season with a victory over the Colorado Rockies Monday night.
Despite the success so far, there’s plenty that remains unknown about this Dodgers squad, so we asked fans on social media what they’d like to know.

The Dodgers have a whopping 14-game lead in the NL West with 6 games until the All-Star Break (vs. the Rockies, vs. the Diamondbacks) ???

What are your biggest questions surrounding the Dodgers? Drop them below and we'll do our part to answer ?
Overwhelmingly, fans are concerned about the pitching corps, including both the starting rotation and the bullpen, so we here at Dodgers Nation will answer some of the best questions put to us.
What will the Dodgers do when the injured starters return?
Two of the Dodgers more notable lengthy absences have been starting pitchers Tyler Glasnow and Blake Snell.
What will the rotation look like once Glasnow and Snell are back? I doubt Lauer will remain a starter but what about Sheehan? I also hope that they don't just dfa Lauer he could be great in the bullpen

At some point this season, those pitchers will come back, and the Dodgers will face a choice. Do they move on from the newly acquired Eric Lauer? Does Emmet Sheehan or Roki Sasaki get sent to the bullpen? What about Justin Wrobleski?

Looking at the Dodgers' options, Lauer and Sheehan are the most likely to move when Snell and Glasnow return. The Dodgers are intent on keeping Sasaki in the rotation and Wrobleski is surpassing expectations. I assume both Lauer and Sheehan will stay, probably going to the 'pen.

What about the bullpen?
If Lauer and Sheehan are moved to the bullpen, that could help another area of concern, as multiple Dodgers relievers are also dealing with injury.

Same issue about the bullpen with returning arms.
Fortunately, as Coloma points out, reliever Evan Phillips is due back imminently, and closer Edwin Diaz is progressing nicely as well.
In my opinion, Glasnow and Snell will probably replace Lauer and Sheehan, who would probably both move to the bullpen. Roberts said Phillips should be reinstated before today's game, and Diaz shouldn't be too far behind him—he wants a return shortly after the ASB

When exactly is Edwin Diaz coming back?
Superstar closer Diaz has been out since April after undergoing surgery for loose bodies in his elbow, though he’s nearing a return.

Coloma said it likely won’t be in the next day or two, but Diaz’s return is probably closer than many think.
Dave Roberts said over the weekend the next step for Diaz is a rehab assignment, and Diaz said he's aiming for a return shortly after the All-Star break. While they didn't give a concrete timeline, I doubt we'll have to wait much longer for Diaz.
