Four-star, in-state guard Jhaliana Guy took an unofficial visit to Iowa women's basketball, sharing photos from the experience.

The 5-foot-10 guard from Clinton, Iowa, recently reopened her recruitment after announcing her decommitment from Stanford on May 31. According to ESPN's 2028 recruiting rankings, Guy ranks No. 16 overall and as the No. 11 guard in the 2028 class.

After her Stanford decommitment, Iowa quickly re-offered Guy.

This past season, Guy averaged a school-record 24.4 points per game and hit a single-season best 87 3-pointers. As a result of her stellar sophomore campaign, she was the first Clinton Red Queen in more than 20 years to be a first-team All-State selection.

In addition to her high school play, Guy also suits up for Mac Irvin Lady Fire on the P24 AAU circuit and was recently invited to Team USA Basketball U17 national team trials, where she was named one of 22 finalists.

This is not Guy's first stop in Iowa City, as the highly touted recruit was part of a group of visitors who took in Iowa's 76-69 upset win over JuJu Watkins and then-No. 4-ranked USC on Feb. 4, 2025, when the Hawkeyes raised Caitlin Clark's No. 22 to the Carver-Hawkeye Arena rafters. Current Hawkeye Journey Houston was one of the other visitors who attended that game.
