Tatum Bittick, college softball's top social media star, signs with Memphis

Tatum Bittick — deemed to be "the most followed college softball player on social media" — is coming home to suit up for Memphis softball.

The former Arlington High School standout was announced as a signee by the Tigers June 25. Bittick is an outfielder, who is transferring to Memphis from Division II Henderson State, where she played her freshman season in 2026.
Bittick stole 30 bases (top-50 in Division II) and hit .263 with four doubles and two home runs, while also leading Henderson State in sacrifice hits (10) and ranking second on the team in runs scored (31).
"Out of the portal and into my new-but-not-new home!" Bittick posted on social media. "I grew up here in Memphis and I’m so excited to be playing softball at University of Memphis. Such a full circle moment!!"
Boasting a social media following of more than 1.1 million, according to a University of Memphis press release, Out2Win ("the first AI-native agency for athlete-influencer marketing," according to its website) recognized Bittick as "the most followed college softball player on social media" in March 2026.
