Oklahoma baseball on June 22 claimed its third-ever College World Series championship, and first in 32 years.
Arguably no player had a bigger on that national championship run, which featured a dominant 5-1 record in Omaha, than shortstop Jaxon Willits: the 2026 CWS Most Outstanding Player.

The junior was sensational at the plate for the Sooners, notching multiple hits in five of six games and at least one hit in every game. The older brother of Eli Willits, the No. 1 pick of the 2025 MLB Draft, put on a performance he and his family will never forget.

Who won MOP of College World Series?
Willits was named the 2026 College World Series Most Outstanding Player after going a combined 13-for-26 at the plate, an Oklahoma CWS record. He had four doubles, a home run, six runs and seven RBI in six games.
He also had five multi-hit games in the national championship run, with the only exception in his trip to Omaha being Game 2 of the CWS finals, when he went 1-for-4 at the plate and drove in a run.
