The Predators earned the No. 10 pick during the NHL's draft lottery on May 5. This will be their ninth top-10 pick in franchise history.
The Predators' watch party will take place at the BetMGM Sports Lounge at Bridgestone Arena on June 26. Doors open at 5 p.m. with "live draft coverage, special guests, exclusive giveaways, food & drink specials and more."
The first round of the NHL draft begins at 6 p.m. CT (ESPN, ESPN+) on June 26 from KeyBank Center in Buffalo. Rounds 2-7 will take place on June 27 (10 a.m. CT, NHL Network, ESPN+).
In addition to the draft watch party, the Predators are hosting their annual open house and used equipment sale at Bridgestone Arena on June 27. Beginning at noon, fans can talk with ticket reps about season ticket options, as well as shop the equipment sale that includes player-used gear like sticks, gloves, helmets, skates and more.
All events, including the draft watch party and open house, are free.
Last year, the Predators took center Brady Martin with the No. 5 overall pick. This year's top NHL prospects include forwards Gavin McKenna and Ivar Stenberg and defenseman Chase Reid. The Predators could be looking to add a defenseman with their first pick — the last time they picked a defenseman in the top-10 was Seth Jones in 2013.
This will be Chris MacFarland's first draft since being named the Predators' president of hockey operations and general manager on June 2.
