Report: Boston Celtics increasingly projected to be Giannis landing spot
· Yahoo Sports
The Giannis Antetokounmpo trade saga with regard to landing with the Boston Celtics just got a bit more convoluted with recent reports from the Stein Line's Marc Stein continuing to hint at Boston as a potential landing spot for the Greek Freak despite the fact that he also reports "momentum continues to rest with the Miami Heat when comes to getting a deal done."

With this in mind, per his sources, "it remains possible that Antetokounmpo does not ultimately land on South Beach" given that "Boston is increasingly projected to be the other landing spot that Giannis prefers to be steered to … without overtly pushing as hard as he possibly can."
"Does Atlanta or Portland want to be the third team that joins the party to acquire Jaylen Brown and help facilitate a trade that makes Antetokounmpo a Celtic?" asks the Stein Line founder.
Whatever ends up happening, the closest thing Stein has been able to find to a consensus on what will happen with Giannis is that things will likely come to head soon.
The Stein Line reporter suggests there is a belief that an "actual trade to end this long-running saga after Antetokounmpo's 13 seasons as a Buck" goes down this offseason.
