Michigan State football is reportedly trending for a big-time prospect in the 2027 class.

Visit newsbetsport.bond for more information.

A trio of recruiting experts from Rivals have submitted predictions in favor of the Spartans to land a commitment from four-star offensive lineman Caleb Johnson of Noblesville, Ind. Allen Trieu, Greg Smith and Steve Wiltfong each have submitted predictions in favor of the Spartans for Johnson since Friday night.

Johnson is listed as a four-star prospect, with a recruiting rating of 91.54 in 247Sports' composite system. He ranks as the No. 11 interior offensive lineman and No. 3 player from Indiana. He is also listed as the No. 213 overall prospect in 247Sports' rankings for the class.

Johnson holds offers from more than 25 schools, with Indiana, Iowa, Missouri and Cincinnati considered the top contenders to land his commitment. He visited Michigan State a few weeks ago and Iowa last week. There is a prediction in favor of the Hawkeyes from a 247Sports insider from earlier in the week, but the most recent predictions from the Rivals' crew hopefully is the true lean for Johnson.

At this time, there is no known commitment date for Johnson. But it's clear that he is a prospect that we need to keep a close eye on as he would be a monster get for the Spartans in the 2027 class.
