New York came back from 29 points down to take Game 4 on Wednesday night when OG Anunoby tipped in the go-ahead bucket off Jalen Brunson’s long 3-point attempt. After trailing 81-52 early in the third quarter, the Knicks chipped away at the lead, holding San Antonio to just 8-of-39 shooting (20.5%) and forcing 10 turnovers in the second half. Anunoby scored 19 of his 33 points after intermission, while Brunson netted 17 of his game-high 36 after the break. Brunson also dished out seven assists while Karl-Anthony Towns finished with 13 points and 10 rebounds.

Victor Wembanyama made just 3-of-14 shots in the second half and finished with 24 points, 13 rebounds, and three blocked shots for the Spurs. Dylan Harper came off the bench for 21 points while Devin Vassell and De’Aaron Fox each dropped 18, with Fox adding seven assists.
The Knicks won the first two games of the Finals in San Antonio, and their Game 4 victory was the first by the home team in the series. The Spurs are now in the position of needing to become just the second team to overcome a 3-1 Finals deficit to win the title, with only the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2016 pulling off that feat.
