The 6-foot-6, 297-pound Jackson, from Lithonia, Georgia, is rated as the 16th-best offensive tackle and 122nd rated player in the 2027 class, per 247Sports.

Even without Jackson, Florida has put together a strong stable of offensive line commitments under first-year coach Jon Sumrall and offensive line coach Phil Trautwein. The Gators still have three offensive line commits that are ranked in the top 150 nationally, per 247Sports, including five-star offensive tackle Maxwell Hiller, four-star center Peyton Miller and four-star tackle Elijah Hutcheson.

With the loss of Jackson, UF's class is still ranked fourth nationally, per 247Sports, with one five-star commitment and 15 four-star pledges. Texas A&M, Oklahoma and Miami are the only schools currently ranked ahead of UF.
