Groff says she saw nothing
And, according to sex trafficking victims, orchestrated sexual encounters with underage girls and young women at his properties in New York, London, Paris, Palm Beach, the Caribbean and the ranch in New Mexico.
On Tuesday, it was pointed out that Epstein’s assistant of 20 years was mentioned more times in the Epstein Files than Donald Trump or Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.
And yet, like so many others in that vile orbit, icicle blond Lesley Groff didn’t see a thing. Knew nothing about the boss’ twisted predilections for young flesh.
Groff testified before the House Oversight Committee on Tuesday. So far, Groff, who lives in a multi-million dollar Connecticut mansion, has maintained her see-no-evil narrative.
A master manipulator?
She reportedly described Epstein as a master manipulator who kept his sinister activities out of sight. As if to underscore her obtuseness, Groff claimed she believed the massage appointments she set up for the boss with young women and girls were legit.
Of course, she somehow entirely missed the half-naked 15-year-olds running around Epstein’s properties. Saw nothing of the boss’ debauched antics over her two-decade tenure?
That all ended in July 2019 when he was arrested for sex trafficking. A month later he was dead by his own hand in a Manhattan jail cell while awaiting trial.
In the Epstein Files, Lesley Groff is mentioned a staggering 160,000 times. Babe in the woods? I think not.
Sex trafficking victim Marina Lacerda — raped by Epstein as a minor — said in 2025 that Groff was a vital cog on Planet Epstein.
“(Groff) would call me and tell me that I needed to be at the house so often that I ended up dropping out of high school before ninth grade,” Lacerda told reporters.
Groff had a front-row seat
For two decades, wherever Jeffrey Epstein and his longtime gal pal Ghislaine Maxwell went, Groff was close at hand. But the good news is, she told the committee, Groff herself was not raped and said the pair kept her at arm’s length.
She was told not to associate with the hoi polloi and teens hanging around the pool. Their sick compulsions were none of her business.
And yet, she is now shunned by friends, her family harassed. Oh, and did I say I didn’t know anything about the evil machinations of Epstein and Maxwell?
Canadian victim Sharlene Rochard doesn’t believe her.
“One of the hardest parts for survivors is hearing the people who were closest to Epstein claim they saw nothing,” Rochard told CNN. “That doesn’t match my experience. Survivors deserve answers, not claims of ignorance.”
Saw nothing ‘improper or illegal’
In 2008, Groff was listed as a possible co-conspirator during Epstein woes in Palm Beach when he inked an absurd non-prosecution agreement struck with federal prosecutors.
But numerous victims told investigators that Groff was the go-to person to reach Epstein. And maybe schedule a massage, which were glorified groping and sex sessions for the sinister insider trading whiz. She also was effectively Epstein’s travel concierge, getting him and the underage women around the world.
Groff moaned in 2021 that she “never witnessed anything improper or illegal.” Sure.
Next up to the plate? Billionaire Bill Gates who also was stricken with temporary blindness.
