Greece vs. Italy: Probable line-ups and where to watch on TV

Davide Baldini is hoping to keep his 100% record intact when the youthful Italy national team take on Greece in an international friendly on Sunday evening.

The Azzurri are under the guidance of interim CT Baldini, who has named a squad of 24 young players, only one of whom is over the age of 22 and only four of them had previously been capped before this week’s set of international fixtures.

This had been an issue that had reportedly angered the Greek federation in the weeks leading up to this evening’s test, but despite reports that there was a risk of cancellation, tonight’s fixture will go ahead as planned.

A lone-strike from Inter’s Pio Esposito handed Italy a 1-0 victory away against Luxembourg on Wednesday night, and pre-match reports indicate that Baldini will keep the bulk of that team together for tonight’s game against Greece.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Atalanta’s Honest Ahanor could come into the defence and Jeff Ekhator of Genoa could come into the attack, Costantino Favasuli and Luigi Cherubini the two most likely to come out of the line-up if that were to be the case.

Kick-off this evening is due at 20.00 BST.
