Texas A&M WR's elite 2025 PFF grades paint a picture of what's to come

Texas A&M's 2026 offense will once again be led by starting quarterback Marcel Reed, who, after throwing for a career-high 3,169 yards, 25 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions, heads into his third and second full starting season, looking to capitalize on last season's College Football Playoff appearance, which was the first for the Aggies under then-second-year coach Mike Elko.

Marcel Reed can thank his elite 2025 wide receiver duo for helping further his development under center, as KC Concepcion and Mario Craver combined for nearly 2,000 yards and 13 touchdowns, while Craver's 917 yards and four touchdowns were the first step towards the Mississippi State transfer's stardom and NFL future.

After Concepcion was selected 24th overall by the Cleveland Browns, one of a record 10 players to hear their names called in the 2026 NFL Draft, Mario Craver quickly became the face of Texas A&M's 2026 wide receiver room, which now includes Alabama transfer wide receiver Isaiah Horton, whose 6'4" frame pairs well with Craver's elite speed and even more impressive route-running skill set.

Per Pro Football Focus, Craver's advanced personal rankings painted the full picture of just how important he is to Texas A&M's offense, finishing third among Power Four receivers in yards per reception (3.25), third nationally in yards after the catch (575), and fifth in the country with 22 forced missed tackles.

While Craver's 5'9" frame is underwhelming on paper, his ability to make something out of nothing and outrun nearly every defensive back willing to cover him makes him a perfect fit in the slot, while his versatility allows first-year OC Holmon Wiggins to move him around when needed.
