Saturday marks the 152nd running of the Kentucky Derby, with 20 horses set to run for the roses and the most coveted trophy in U.S. thoroughbred racing. 

Though the main event is near the end of the program, it's an all-day affair at Churchill Downs with 11 races leading up to the Derby. The premier annual showcase for 3-year-olds is the race everyone wants to see, though.

Post time for the 2026 Kentucky Derby is set for Saturday at 3:57 p.m. PT, or 6:57 p.m. ET. The Run for the Roses is the 12th of 14 races on tap at Churchill Downs, with the day's program beginning at 8 a.m. PT.

Where to watch Kentucky Derby 2026

Saturday races at Churchill Downs, culminating in the 152nd Kentucky Derby, will air across multiple platforms. NBC will carry several races leading up to the main event, with FanDuel TV providing additional coverage of early and late races.
