On the London is Blue podcast they gave their thoughts on who the new man should be, and the importance of appointing him as soon as possible, as well as their dream style of play from a coach.
Chelsea fans tired of high press “nonsense”
“I do not, under any circumstances, want a manager who plays the same high press, high risk nonsense that we have seen some Chelsea managers play,” presenter Nick Verlaney said.
“I want a team that plays controlled, that saves their legs, that breaks on the counter, that plays fun, interesting football. That doesn’t have to pass the ball backwards to have control of the game.”
That sounds quite anti Andoni Iraola then. The Bournemouth boss has just been made favourite for the job.
