The deceased was identified as Rahul Ahirwar, a resident of Isagarh. According to information, at around 3 am on Monday, Rahul sent a final message to his father on WhatsApp saying, “You will not face any trouble because of me anymore.”
Initially, the father did not take the message seriously, but when he later checked the room, Rahul was found hanging.
Family members said that Rahul had been addicted to online gaming for a long time and used to invest money in it. His addiction worsened during his jobs in Indore and Dewas, where he repeatedly lost money and kept taking loans.
The family somehow managed to repay his debts. When the situation worsened, they brought him back home from Dewas, but after some time, he again started spending money on online games.
Recently, after losing a large amount in gaming, Rahul even mortgaged his bike. Despite this, he could not overcome the addiction.

However, before he could begin his new job, he ended his life.
According to the family, Rahul had been under mental stress and depression for a long time. He had also attempted suicide earlier - once by cutting his wrist and another time by consuming sleeping pills.
Rahul had been married for about 5 years and is survived by his 3-year-old daughter. A day before the incident, he had sent his wife to her parental home in Badarwas.
