Melania Trump blasted the late-night host over his “atrocious” jokes from a recent episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live! .

The host performed a parody of the White House Correspondents’ Dinner in advance, delivering a monologue had he been hired as its emcee.

But his words are hitting differently in light of the shooting incident at Saturday night’s annual event.

“Our First Lady, Melania, is here. Look at Melania, so beautiful,” Kimmel said on Thursday’s episode . “Mrs. Trump, you have a glow like an expectant widow.”

Two days later, a gunman stormed the annual event in Washington, D.C. , and raced toward the ballroom where the president, the first lady, the vice president, Cabinet members and more than 2,500 guests were gathered to celebrate the First Amendment and freedom of the press.

The suspected shooter, Cole Allen, 31, was taken down by Secret Service agents at the scene.

Attorney General Todd Blanche said that investigators believe Allen targeting officials of the Trump administration.

Melania has since addressed the clip, urging ABC, which airs Kimmel’s show, to “take a stand,” in an X post shared on Monday.

“Kimmel’s hateful and violent rhetoric is intended to divide our country. His monologue about my family isn’t comedy — his words are corrosive and deepens the political sickness within America,” the message on her X account read.

“People like Kimmel shouldn’t have the opportunity to enter our homes each evening to spread hate. A coward, Kimmel hides behind ABC because he knows the network will keep running cover to protect him,” she continued.

“Enough is enough. It is time for ABC to take a stand,” Melania added. “How many times will ABC’s leadership enable Kimmel’s atrocious behavior at the expense of our community.”

The president said in a press conference after he, his wife and others were evacuated from the gala dinner, that it was “a rather traumatic experience” for Melania.

Allen was detained by authorities and is expected to be arraigned on multiple federal charges in D.C. federal court on Monday.

Kimmel and ABC vs. Trump and FCC

Last September, Kimmel’s show was taken off the air over his controversial remarks about the assassination of conservative commentator Charlie Kirk.

In his Sept. 15 monologue, Kimmel said Trump’s more boisterous supporters were trying to “score political points” from Kirk’s murder.

“We hit some new lows over the weekend with the MAGA gang desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them, and doing everything they can to score political points from it.”

The comments sparked outrage, and Kimmel’s show was yanked off the air after FCC chairman Brendan Carr threatened punitive action against ABC, Disney, and independent owners of ABC-affiliated stations if Kimmel was not reprimanded for the insensitive monologue.

Upon his return less than a week later, the comedian said he accepted that some people felt his remarks about Kirk’s death had been “ill-timed or unclear or maybe both,” noting, “I get why you’re upset.”

While he didn’t apologize, Kimmel did explain : “It was never my intention to make light of a murder of a young man. I don’t think there’s anything funny about it.”

President Trump was outraged that Kimmel got his show back on the air , not to mention so quickly.

“The White House was told by ABC that his Show was cancelled! Something happened between then and now because his audience is GONE, and his ‘talent’ was never there,” Trump fumed in a Truth Social post.

Perhaps further fanning the flames, Kimmel and ABC agreed to a new deal , extending his contract through May 2027.
