Lennart Karl has quickly become one of the biggest young stars in football after a breakout season with Bayern Munich under Vincent Kompany. Unfortunately, Karl was recently injured with a torn muscle fiber and has not played a minute since April 4th. Fans might have some good news though as reports from Bild indicated that the German wonderkid could be available as early as the first leg against Paris Saint-Germain.

This news comes after Lennart Karl was seen completing a 30-minute individual session during the team’s off day and Karl was able to train with the ball. Though it is speculative at this point, individual training is a sign of things moving in the right direction.

After news of Serge Gnabry’s season-ending injury broke this past weekend, Lennart Karl will likely be the first attacking option off the bench as Jamal Musiala will likely slot into the 10 role as Gnabry has been utilized in.

While nothing is confirmed, this is good news and Karl will no doubt be a large factor in the coming weeks as the team looks to rotate their attacking options as the DFB Pokal and Champions League reach their conclusions.
