Dailyn Swain, who played two seasons for Sean Miller and the Xavier University men's basketball team before following Miller to Austin and playing one season for the Texas Longhorns, is expected to declare for the 2026 NBA Draft, according to a report April 7 via Twitter/X from DraftExpress' Jonathan Givony.

Some project Swain as a first-round pick in the draft. He averaged 17.3 points, 7.5 rebounds and 3.6 assists per game in 36 games for Texas.

Swain, from Columbus, Ohio, averaged 11 points, 5.5 rebounds and 2.6 assists in 28.5 minutes per game as a sophomore for the Musketeers. He averaged 4.6 points and 3 rebounds in 18.9 minutes per game as a freshman.

Swain entered the transfer portal shortly after news that Miller was leaving XU for Texas.
