Cook is the first offensive linemen to commit to the Longhorns for the cycle, but he certainly won’t be the last with lines Steve Sarkisian and his staff have in the water both in-state and nationally. Similar to Robertson, Cook profiles as a guy that will get looks at both guard and center when he arrives on campus. It is never a bad idea to secure a guy who can line up as the nucleus of your offensive line and that’s what Kyle Flood has done here.
Cook chose the Longhorns over programs like Arkansas, Northwestern, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, UCLA, and Wake Forest.
