The international break is here, so it was a great chance to get Sky’s transfer man Kaveh Solhekol on TV to talk about the developing saga of the summer at Stamford Bridge – Enzo Fernandez’s potential departure, after the Argentine openly flirted with the idea.
“Moisés Caicedo is not going anywhere. The situation with Enzo Fernandez is a little bit more complicated, because I think Chelsea will sign another midfielder this summer, right? And I don’t think he’s regarded as being totally untouchable at Chelsea,” Solhekol said.
“It would be interesting if a club like Real Madrid were to make an offer of more than £100 million. I think if they were to do that, then it is an offer that Chelsea would consider, although their position is that the player is not for sale, and he’s a key player for them.”

Conditions not yet right for Chelsea to make mega sale
It lines up with what we’ve said all along – Enzo is a player Chelsea would consider selling as he’s not been a total smash, doesn’t seem to fit easily into teams with Cole Palmer, and those in charge would like their money back so they can take another big swing.
But who is going to offer them the £80m they’d want to move on? Nobody, as far as we can see.
In other news…
Enzo isn’t the only one who hasn’t been looking happy in recent weeks.
The Athletic have been naming the best Premier League attackers ever, and there’s one Chelsea star in the mix.
