WTR Cadillac Striped of Sebring Podium Finish Following Post Race Tech

Following Saturday’s 74th 12 Hours of Sebring, the Wayne Taylor Racing No. 10 Cadillac V-Series R of Ricky Taylor, Will Stevens, and Filipe Albuquerque was stripped of its podium.

During post-race technical inspection, the No. 10 was found to have camber in excess of the permitted tire pressure limit. The entry was moved to the back of the GTP class with its disqualification.
Their initial podium was a welcome recovery from their DNF in this year’s Rolex 24.
The No. 31 Cadillac Whelen of Jack Aitken, Earl Bamber, and Frederik Vesti, put on pole by Aitken, was elevated to the podium.
Throughout the 12-hour race, the No. 31 was often the highest-performing of the non-Porsche Penske GTP entries and battled back from contact with the No. 6 Porsche 963 to run the majority of the race in third place.
The two WTR Cadillacs, No. 10 and its sister car No. 40, snuck into the top five in the closing hours, after running further back in class most of the day. The No. 40 was overtaken by the No. 60 Acura ARX-06, No. 24 BMW M Hybrid V8, and No. 93 Acura ARX-06.
Riccardo Pera No. 912 Porsche 911 GT3 R moved from 11th in class to the back of the class following Pera's not completing the minimal driving time due to their early retirement. The No. 912 spin brought out the final caution of the 12 Hour race in the closing hour.
