With the first wave of free agency over, ESPN's NFL draft guru Mel Kiper Jr. released his latest Round 1 mock for the 2026 draft.
In the projection, the Bills add a final piece to the team's new defense under coordinator Jim Leonhard--a cornerback.
The selection is Clemson's Avieon Terrell at No. 26 overall.
Terrell has NFL bloodlines as his brother, AJ, was a first-round pick of the Atlanta Falcons in 2020. As for himself, Terrell is a noted playmaker as he had three interceptions, nine sacks an eight forced fumbles during his 39 games played at Clemson.
For more on Terrell to the Bills, Kiper's breakdown can be found below:
Avieon Terrell, CB, Clemson
The Bills' tight salary cap led to some cornerback changes this offseason, with the team cutting Dane Jackson, trading Taron Johnson and letting Tre'Davious White hit free agency. They have Christian Benford and 2025 first-rounder Maxwell Hairston in place, but the depth is shallow. Terrell is great in man coverage, showing the ability to stick on receivers. He didn't come away with any interceptions last season, but he broke up nine passes.
