Wisconsin basketball makes KenPom history in win over Purdue

The Wisconsin Badgers have only dropped triple digits once this season, but they've come close quite a few times.
One of those close efforts came in the team's recent 97-93 victory over No. 15 Purdue. It marks yet another ranked win for the team, one that has won three straight games to end the regular season.

Wisconsin improved to 22-9 (14-6 Big Ten) with the impressive road win. Junior guard John Blackwell led all scorers with 25 points, though senior Nick Boyd wasn't too far behind with 23. The Badgers made 18 three-pointers in the contest, as they let it rain at Mackey Arena.
Purdue had no answers for Wisconsin's offense; the Badgers carved up the Boilermakers at a historic rate.
According to ESPN's Jeff Borzello, this will go down as Purdue's worst defensive performance in the KenPom era. The Badgers scored roughly 1.48 points per possession, which is the most against the Boilermakers since the 1997 season.
Wisconsin has been held to 77 points or fewer in each of its nine losses this season, but when they win, they tend to win big. This is their 13th game of the season in which they scored 90+ points. Since putting up 91 points against No. 2 Michigan on January 10, Wisconsin has scored at least 90 points in eight of its 12 wins.
