Rumors surrounding the Baltimore Ravens possibly trading for Las Vegas Raiders star edge rusher Maxx Crosby are starting to heat up.

On Friday, The Athletic's Dianna Russini labeled the Ravens as a "team to watch" for the five-time Pro Bowler, who is expected to be traded at some point.

According to Jason La Canfora of SportsBoom, the Ravens are believed to be offering a first-round pick, plus two Day 2 picks.

“I heard pretty strongly they are offering their one (first-round pick), plus two more Day Two (rounds two and three) picks,” a general manager said to La Canfora.

That same general manager wasn't sure exactly what years the picks were, but he added that "Baltimore is being aggressive" in its pursuit of Crosby.

Reports have suggested the Raiders are looking for two first-round picks and a player, but nobody is expecting them to get that much. If Las Vegas is really motivated to trade Crosby, they will likely have to come off that demand.

The biggest focus on that Ravens reported offer is the first-round pick.

The Ravens' selection in the first round of this year's draft comes at No. 14 overall, which would be quite a valuable pick to give up.

That said, the Ravens have a dire enough need at edge rusher to consider them dealing such a pick a possibility.

Baltimore finished with the fourth-fewest sacks in the NFL last season and now have Kyle Van Noy, who was a major disappointment, set to hit free agency.

Crosby would be just what the doctor ordered for Baltimore, as he's an elite edge rusher who would instantly bolster Baltimore's defense.

If that is truly what the Ravens are offering the Raiders for Crosby, Las Vegas would be wise to take it, as it's a very strong offer, especially if that first-round selection is indeed the No. 14 pick.
